Mendoza is a mother of two boys. She has been speaking at youth, women, drama, and writer groups for over twenty years. She has published fourteen novels, six plays, and one non-fiction book on Human Video. She is a full time fine arts director at a church of 1,000, is on the San Diego Christian Writer’s Guild Board, mentors young adults in ministry, leads Praying Wives & Mom’s Club, and hosts a writer’s critique group. She is ordained and has a MA in Humanities.
